A great introduction to quality English still wine, Flint Dry is a blend of predominantly Chardonnay, Bacchus, Pinot Blanc. This highly aromatic white wine has intense aromas of apple, pear and citrus together with crisp acidity and a long, refreshing finish.

Reflective of Chapel Down's story and ongoing evolution, the grape variety blend for our best selling Flint Dry white wine has changed over the last 20 years. This blend has shifted from a higher weighting of floral Germanic varieties like Siegerrebe and Reichensteiner, which dominated early English vineyard plantings, towards more elegant, fruit forward varieties like Chardonnay, which now thrive under the warming UK climatic conditions and improved knowledge of our viticulturalists. The wine was blended, clarified, and bottled in March 2023.
