We’re proud to source the best of Kent and Sussex — two of Britain’s most productive and celebrated food counties. By going direct to the farmers and producers on our doorstep, we offer genuine provenance, shorter supply chains, and produce that’s picked and packed at its peak. Every supplier relationship we build is a deliberate choice to invest in our local food economy and keep great British farming thriving.

What We Stand For

Alongside these, outstanding customer service and a knowledgeable, passionate team are absolutely central to who we are. We aim to trade both ethically and sustainably — investing in our staff, building genuine partnerships with our suppliers, and nurturing the loyal community of customers who make what we do worthwhile.

We actively highlight products that are pesticide free and offer a dedicated ordering service for harder-to-find produce. We keep packaging to a minimum, so you can touch, smell and choose exactly what you need — just as you would at a proper farm shop.

What We Stock

The Pantry

A well-stocked pantry can respond to the challenge of any recipe. We offer a range of wholefoods, grains and pulses, baking essentials, and what we’re told is the best A to Z of herbs and spices for miles around. Global cuisines are represented by an enticing selection of sauces, marinades and spices.

Drinks & Treats

Organic and herbal teas sit side by side with our own house coffee blend, complemented by delicious biscuits, cakes and chocolate — many of which are made locally.

For Babies & Children

Good habits start young. We have a tailored range of goodies for babies and children, including some familiar favourites and, of course, a few treats for good behaviour.

Local Preserves, Honeys & Jams

No farm shop would be complete without the best local preserves, honeys, jams and chutneys. Our range will tantalise your toast or cheer up your cheese sandwich to no end.

Fresh Bread & Eggs

We get a fresh bake every day from not one but two local bakeries. Add to that eggs from some of the happiest free-range hens around — and that’s breakfast, lunch or dinner sorted.

Gluten Free & Free From

Whatever your free-from need, we aim to offer you alternatives to suit your requirements. We’re proud to work with two innovative gluten-free kitchens that supply baked goods that will pass the whole family’s taste test. We also carry a good range of gluten-free dried goods and cereals, as well as dairy-free and vegan alternatives.

Britain grows some of the finest produce in the world — but not everything, and not all year round. When British-grown isn’t an option, we source the very best of what’s in season globally, so you can eat your way around the world and back, without ever compromising on freshness or flavour.
