Perelló Marcona almonds are grown in north-east Spain. They are large, plump, creamy in texture, with a rich buttery taste and a distinctive sweet nutty flavour.
Gently fried and lightly salted, they are an ideal appetiser with cold drinks. Add to a grazing platter with olives, acorn ham or cured mojama.
Known as the ‘Queen’ of almonds, Marconas are prized by nut lovers everywhere.
